Blondie
I love you, simply without any words,
You are able to play on the magical strings of my rainfall.
Perhaps I drink from the glass of my deranged years?
No - I'm just going to be insane.
Oh, blondie, you're my wind and I'm your sea.
I love you as much as I can!
Houses may collapse and stones may crumble, but my love for you will remain.
I know your phone is busy, not with me, and it never will be,
But - I'm just going to be insane.
Oh, blondie, you're my wind and I'm your sea.
I love you, simply without any words,
You are able to play on the magical strings of my rainfall.
Perhaps I drink from the glass of my deranged years?
No - I simply love you.
Oh, blondie, you're my wind and I'm your sea.
Rock music is associated with protest, and love lyrics have always been an important part of it. Sometimes Love is the protest against reality - social and existential.
In the song "Blondie", Svjatoslav Zaderij interprets love far beyond the bounds of romantic infatuation and intense passion, viewing it as an elemental force that engulfs a person entirely: 'You are my wind, I am your sea'."
This incomprehensible, magical state can either elevate a person above existence or plunge them into the depths of suffering. However, without experiencing such intense emotions, a person cannot cultivate that very Love, which endures, shows mercy, is not proud, bears all things, and never ceases.
The arrangement is based on a recording from 1984, made during the rehearsals of the original lineup of "Alisa" in the corridor of the 'Vyborgsky' Culture Center, which was included in the album "Krivozerkalye""
The 2023 version preserved the main melodic lines of the original composition and the spirit of New Wave bordering with punk. It turns out that to reveal the hit it has to be simply recorded in the studio
